He has also been critical friend to policy initiatives across parties - including Mayor Ken Livingstone's cultural, energy and sustainable development plans and Prime Minister David Cameron's .uk third sector initiative. aladin is active as an interdisciplinary artist and producer his projects have taken place at the ICA and LIFT Festival in London, Manifesta Bienniale in Spain he was instrumental in devising and realising ZeroZeroZero at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in 1999 (focusing on the emerging practices of British Asian artists) and The Changing R6+9oom at the London 2012 Festival/Cultural Olympiad (focusing on art and culture arising from the uprisings across the Middle East and North Africa). In the capacity of strategic counsel aladin's unique, interdisciplinary approach has been engaged by institutional clients including EDF, Schlumberger, LVMH, Adidas, Cadbury-Schweppes, DEFRA, Carbon Descent, London Sustainability Exchange. ![]() ![]() aladin also has significant experience of creative and experimental approaches to the regeneration of marginalised or remote communities: he has advised on projects and processes in Peckham and Deptford/London, Dale/Norway, Fogo Island/Canada, Montpelier/France among others.
